Internet companies would sale 2Can readers for small business and croudfunders.

Press service of Yandex.Money announced that the internet company would start sales of 2Can mobile payment terminals under its brand.

2Can reader is a device of a matchbox size, which is out into the audioconnector of a smartphone or a tablet. Yandex.Money issued its own mobile application for 2Can for devices on iOS and Android platforms. The service allows accepting payments from Visa and MasterCard cards.

The Yandex company emphasizes, that previously 2Can users had an opportunity to approve payments transferred only on their bank accounts. Due to Yandex.Money application the owner of 2Can reader would be able to get money transferred to Yandex. Purse as well.

The representatives of Yandex.Money suppose that this introduction would make the service more comfortable for money collection at charity events, while the organizers would not have to open a bank account on purpose. They would be able to accept payments on settlement account, having executed an agreement with Yandex.Money. Moreover, money transfer to Yandex.Purse is made quicker than to a bank account. We expect mobile terminals to be used by street cafes’ employees, taxi drivers, insurance agents and, of course, couriers at delivery of goods. Additionally, it as an excellent solution for charity fairs, says Oleg Nikitin, the project manager.

Legal entities get the terminal for free under an agreement with Yandex.Money. Individuals may buy a reader for 200 rubles. Official sales start on April 23 at RIF+KIB 2014 conference.

Reader is compatible with Samsung, Apple, HTC, LG and Sony devices. Commission for a payment via 2Can amounts to 2, 75 per cent and is charged from the receiver. The pair gets an electronic cheque, confirming payment at his/her email or cell phone. The maximum payment through the service amounts to 15 thousand rubles. One can transfer up to 150 thousand per day, and up to 500 thousand per month.

The Smartfin start-up, developing 2Can, in the end of March got five million USD of investments from InVenture Partners, Almaz Capital Partners funds and ЕСН group. At that moment it became known, that the service was going to launch a joint project with Sberbank, but the details were not disclosed.

2Can entered the market in 2012. Since that time the company has sold over 13 thousands of readers, through which 300 million rubles of payments were approved. Payments via 2Can are accepted in Tanuki restaurants, Rendezvous shops and City Sightseeing buses. On the Russian market there are several services of mobile acquiring. The most popular are Pay Me and SumUp reader of Svyaznoy bank.
